Travel Stories

I always wanted to travel. For as long as I can remember, the desire was always there. I wanted to brave the ice of north-eastern Greenland and travers the wilderness of Alaska. As I grew up, the dreams didn’t disappear, rather the desire only became stronger. While I haven’t yet managed to visit the wilderness of Alaska, I have been fortunate enough to travel far and wide. The goal is to visit all countries in the world, both those officially recognized, as well as all those places that don’t formally exist. I still got a long way to go, but I am working on it.

Here are a couple of accounts from trips to some of the places not frequently visited by travelers.

"You bow, yes?" A trip to North Korea

The Kokoda Trail. Chasing history in the jungle

"True wisdom comes to him who has traveled far and knows the ways of the world."

The Hávamál
